Campus safety, four legs at a time
In May 2026, the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office put our quadruped to work at Alexandria Senior High School — a live demo of what robot-assisted campus safety looks like.
The robot walked the campus the way it would on a real deployment: patrolling grounds and corridors, streaming what it sees, and reporting to the humans responsible for keeping students safe.
Students got up close — the fastest way to make a robot unremarkable is to let people meet it — and explored what campus safety looks like when a patrol robot is part of the team.
School resource officers can't be everywhere at once. A quadruped that covers the fence lines, parking lots, and empty halls extends the team that's already there — it never replaces it.
